100

Haha it took a scattered two years but look ma I did it 100 posts. So I've been reading this book (I can't tell you the title sorry) and its giving me a new perspective on life or should I say shifting my perspective as my fortune cookie foretold lol. I see things a lot clearer nowadays. I understand what I have to do and what I want to do. A lot of times people in life get lost along the road to success and happiness, never realizing that happiness just takes hope to believe and success takes determination to achieve (damn I'm getting deeper with words day by day). In the words of Kanye, "They say your attitude determines your latitude, I guess I'm high as a motherf*cker fly as a motherf*cker." That's how I'm feeling lately. Nothing can stop me. I mean I can be stopped but at the moment I CAN'T BE STOPPED. Ya feel me.

Anyways I'll leave y'all with a lil something I did last thursday at this open mic

My biggest pet peeve in life is that people don't see it as I do
They don't understand that roses are red because the skies blue
Or that beautiful skin in itself is a tattoo
I mean if I had to
I'd rather ink my name in the pages of history oppose to my back or chest
My biggest pet peeve in life is that people don't hear it as I do
They don't understand that actions speak louder than words
Carefully placed in between nouns and verbs
To them it is unheard to be different
And speaking of different if we are all trying to be different
Are we all the same
Instead of making a name
Why don't we change and just be
You see to be is to do and to do is believe
That is why when I go to school I roll up my mental sleeve
And dig into the knowledge being served
Eating up every word
And as I chew on every thought
My own opinions are formed oppose to bought
My biggest pet peeve in life is that people don't live it as I do
Every breathe a blessing
Every step a journey
Every blink a picture
Every dream a reality....

808's & Heartbreak (UPDATED)

Hate resides in those who WISH they were as OUTgoing, as SPECtacular, as UNIque, as DIFFerent as those who ARE. Kanye West is my favorite artist (sometimes rapper). The distinction between artist and rapper is that a rapper is tied down to one area opposed to an ARTIST who is always challenging the NORM and breaking the MOLD. Kanye says it best “It’s like judging a grandmother’s love, and someone says ‘Your grandmother gets two and a half mics.’”(Special treat below) (And thanks to Fenix for the tracklisting and 2dopeboyz for the song links.

808's & Heartbreak Tracklisting

Love Lockdown Official Video

I didn't know Ellen had it like that. It shows how wack MTV and BET are getting... (I mean wtf is Judge Karen BET?). But the video is tight and it only makes me love the song even more. Start saving money for the November 25th release of 808's & Heartbreak. And look out for the second single Heartless coming real soon.

Ba(Rack) Is Stronger

Barack "Hope" Obama is now what I like to say an ICON. And hopefully after this election a LEGEND. Imagine a generation of people who don't care who is what color because if he gets voted into office no child will grow up knowing that there wasn't a single person of color who wasn't President. And for some reason being anything you can or the "American Dream" seems so much more feasible if he is elected.

Anyways enough preaching if you haven't already watch the short vid above, of Obama rapping Stronger off of Kanye West's Graduation (Call it a remix)

Please Don't Let Go

If you tried to click the download button try again below by clicking the lower link *note you still have to purchase album*
But you can still download one track for free its by Malik Yusef feat. Kanye West and Adam Levine or more like a collabo, its still a real deep track with great meaning. Personally we need something extra terrestrial this election, something unheard of, something of absolute change, it's only a matter of time till we stop getting chances to correct our wrongs. We can no longer be the strongest country in the world but we have to at least recreate the leadership and prestige we once had.

Ok aside from the throwback picture above this is a hot post. John Legend and Mr. West link up to create an instant radio hit which is from John Legend's up and coming release Evolver in October (I think). I see this all over (maybe not in AZ) in about a month or less depending on how fast radio's discover this post and rip the song haha. Kanye kills it ya'll check it out.

LOVE LOCKDOWN VIDEO/SONG

Ok so the VMA's were yesterday and I have to say it was better than usual but still a half-hearted attempt at an award show. It seemed like the winners were so predictable. (And is Tokio Hotel all guys or is the singer a chick???) Anyways here is the new song from kanye west's rumored next album (I say rumored because it's rumored to drop this december)

After hearing the song above I was inspired to pencil in my version or the way I see the song......(sidenote play the above video and imagine yourself or I singing the below lyrics). Special Treat after my verses....

(My Part)
She's the hottest girl
Maybe not to you
But she rocks my world
And I rock her's too
What am I to do
Lost train of thought
This feelings new
Love can't be bought

(Bridge)
So you never know
Never never know
Never know enough
Til its over love
Till we lose control
System overload
Screaming no no no no no

(My part)
But now I'm rich
And temptations here
Separate real from bitch
Now the pictures clear
I must be faithful now
She's like no other
Shouldn't have to ask how
She's the perfect lover

(Chorus)
So keep your love lockdown
Your love lockdown
So keep your love lockdown
Your love lockdown
So keep your love lockdown
Your love lockdown

You keep your love lockdown (your move)

LOVE LOCKDOWN (CDQ/UNMASTERED VERSION)

Good Morning

Man this is mad old but there is final a quality version so you know I have to post it haha. And besides KANYE WEST is in the building swag at ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND MILLION... (well he's not really in the building but he is my fav artist so get to liking it haha)

Here is another rapper I've been watching (or listening to) recently....

(I) GLOW IN THE DARK TOUR

On a scale of one to ten the tour was OUTTA THIS WORLD. No joke. FNF Up! Lupe Fiasco came out hard doing a total of 10 songs ( I think) and had his entire crew there for the ride. Next came N*E*R*D the greatest energy that I have ever seen period. They had crowd involvement to the max and then some and seriously I was like 5 feet from a Billionaire Boys Club shirt falling my way (till then I guess I keep dreaming, keep keep dreaming). Also while they performed Lupe came out as Darth Vader and Kanye came out in his Bape zip up hoodie (footage below of the exact concert TUCSON). When Kanye came out security didn't know what to do with us. I originally started, literally, near the stage but security pushed us back then ended up a few rows back standing on chairs still same effect my voice was gone and hearing was down. hahaha. All in all it was amazing and I don't want to spoil to much so thats why detail is low but hey if you have a chance to watch this live I recommend dropping the dough.

THE REVIEW....

IT'S COMING
